Yeah, I started the "Sports Nuts" for my dentist. He had a pear tree outside his office window, and as soon as the pears got even close to ripe, the squirrels would steal them all. That made him crazy. He's also a major sport freak. So....being the sweet person I am,  I started designing these and bringing him a framed picture of one every time I went. LOL He actually got a kick out of them and set up a "gallery wall" right next to the window for all to see. The big plus is that he doesn't mind the squirrels so much now, and calls them his "All Stars".

Hi to all!!
I sold a postage stamp sheet today!! YES!!!  This is my first sale at zazzle.
I'm so very happy. Still, I need to do many many things to improve my shop and also my website.
Unfortunately, I don't have a good idea about my cafepress shop for now...

I am having a love/hate relationship with the new Zazzle custom stuff. It's taken me all day to get a new layout just right, but I think it's kind of cool. Next, I get products in it! LOL

Hi, Everyone:
Since I read this Thread yesterday, I've been working to set up the Zazzle Shops I have and get designs uploaded to them. Here is what I have so far:

Have been getting designs onto product. . .those 5 shops represent almost 500 designs, so I have placed one design in each, just to get started. . .and I'll keep at it!

That Shop, when populated, will have about 2,000 designs featuring other breeds of dog. . .and I may very well have to separate some of those out into their own Shops as I have close to 100 designs in several breeds. . .and don't want too large a Shop. . .like I had at CP. . .which ran into loading trouble.

When setting my "royalty percentage" at Zazzle, I tinkered with it until I had about the same amount of commission per product that I have been getting at Cafe Press.
The Forums at Zazzle had some comments about those percentages, and there were some thoughts that the method of figuring commission amounts "royalties" may change. . .
Still only looking at that world outside through a window. . .and it is a gorgeous day here, so perhaps. . .maybe. . .I'll sit outside and read for a bit.
I find I really have to lose myself in a book to avoid the guilt. . .

Hey, I just saw that note - thanks, Hilly - I'm back online and things are hectic getting my OWN new computer up to speed on everything! Hehehe.. my Wagner Ring design must be resonating with lots of musicians and Wagnerphiles, as it has gotten multiple sales both at Zazzle and CP! I'm a violist, and can't imagine playing all of that either (or even listening to it all in one shot!)

HELLO !!!! I didn't know quite which Thread in the Zazzle Section would be the best to post this:
I GOT MY FIRST SALE !!!!! Wheeee! All excited and once again raring to GO with my Zazzle shop building!!
My Westie painting that sold a tee shirt has ALWAYS been my consistently Best Seller since I used to sell on eBay. . .so it is only fitting that she be my first Zazzle sale as well.
It is my Maggie, the namesake of my Shop! Amazing!
